Welcome to my first – but not the last, I hope – weekly recap! Feel free to link yours in the comments, I’ll definitely read them 🙂
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that these past few months have been hard, medically-wise. This week was no better on that aspect, because I only managed to work for a couple of days. Luckily though, I’m now in Winter Holidays so I hope the next two weeks will give my treatment the opportunity to work! Positive vibes, positive vibes…
Moreover, this week was my Birthday! Indeed I was born on February 14th (I knooooow), which gives me the occasion to celebrate Valentine’s Day and still be cynical about it (I am so sorry about that).
✓ My only review of the week starred a novel that holds a special place in my heart, We Are The Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson. If you haven’t read it yet, what are you waiting for ? My Review
✓ The Top Ten Tuesday theme of the week was a romance freebie, therefore I decided to promote my favorite authors of romance novels. Take a look at my recommendations!
✓ Thursday was a special day for me because I finally posted my Guest Post Announcement. In a word : I wish to share your experience as an International reader, and if you’re interested, you can email me before 2/21. Thank you to all the readers who already reached out! More details in my post.
✓ On Friday I created a new meme, #FridayNope, in which I introduce a novel I hated and briefly explain why. Please steal it! Friday Nope #1 : Bi-erasure & Other Fails
Timekeeper by Tara Sim : Oh my GOD, I’m so annoyed at myself for not reading this book sooner ! Indeed I’m almost done with it – around 80% ? – and if I’m not quite sold on the romance (a bit too rushed for my liking), I absolutely love the world-building and the writing, not to mention the PTSD/anxiety rep. HOOKED is what I am, and I’ll definitely read the sequel very soon !
